PENTAX MALAYSIA Photo Competition

First Prize – Pentax Gift Voucher worth RM 500

Second Prize – Pentax Gift Voucher worth RM 400

Third Prize – Pentax Gift Voucher worth RM 300

Prizes:

1. Winners will be announced officially on the Pentax Malaysia Facebook Wall, as well as a personal email.
2. Prize will be sent by Pos Laju to winner’s mailing address.
3. Prizes are not exchangeable for cash.

Participation criteria:

1. The competition is open to all Malaysian Residents.
2. Cutoff time is 00:00 1 July 2012 (June 30th Night, July 1^st Day)
3. Only digital photographs from PENTAX cameras will be accepted
4. All photos shall be sent to: pentaxmalaysia@gmail.com
5. A maximum of three (3) photos per participant will be accepted. Only one can be chosen to win.
6. Image submitted to be not larger than 1MB
7. Image submitted shall not be smaller than 800 px on either side.
8. Photograph must be taken during the contest period. (11th May 2012 – 30th June 2012)

Contest rules:

1. Entries must be submitted by the original photographer. You must be the sole owner of the copyright of any image submitted.
2. If submitted photos include one or more persons that are recognizable, consent must be given for the photograph to be used.
3. Photos submitted must adhere to the theme stated, or risk disqualification
4. Every photo must come with a title.
5. Minor editing like copying, resizing, contrast and brightness is permitted.

Judging:
1. Judging will be based on a total of 10 points.
2. The points will be determined by 6 appointed Pentax administrators, judging based on aesthetics, technical proficiency, and impact (among other variables).
3. All decisions of the judges are final.

4. Results will be released on the 6th of July 2012
